The Founders Inn and Conference Center was designed to be a world-class facility. Sound and video systems had to meet critical and varied uses -- professional entertainment, teleconferences, television production, multilingual meetings, weddings, banquets, conventions and more -- alone or at the same time. There would be an eight-section ballroom and 25 meeting rooms that had to be interfaced in various combinations, and the systems had to be created with future capabilities taken into consideration. Two of the most important criteria had to be quality sound and ease of operation.

The Solution

AE Systems was chosen for this project because of our extensive background in hotel systems design and installation. We list Marriott, Hyatt, and Sheraton Hotels among our satisfied customers. We know how to make a complicated system simple enough for a part-time catering staff worker to operate it. Using computer control technology, rooms can be separated or combined in any configuration. Microphones, speakers and supporting electronics are automatically selected and activated. An extensive network of audio and video lines are provided throughout the Inn and Conference Center to facilitate on-site production. Multilingual translation booths and an event production booth are available overlooking the ballroom.
